Afnan is a registered audiologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario. She completed her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences before pursuing her graduate education in Audiology.
As an audiologist, Afnan is passionate about helping patients better understand their hearing health and feel confident in their care. She provides comprehensive hearing assessments and supports patients through the process of understanding their hearing results and exploring appropriate hearing solutions. She works with individuals of all ages and takes the time to understand each patient’s unique hearing needs and goals.
As an Arabic speaking audiologist, Afnan especially enjoys being able to connect with Arabic speaking patients and families in their own language. She understands how important clear communication and cultural comfort can be when navigating healthcare. She hopes to make every appointment feel welcoming, comfortable, and a little less intimidating.
When she’s not talking about ears, you can usually find Afnan doing something creative. She loves painting, crocheting, crafting, and starting new projects (sometimes before finishing the last one!). When she’s not creating something, she’s happiest spending time with her family!
